On arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our local representative will wait outside the customs area to welcome you and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon get ready for Hanoi City Tour Half Day. Start by visiting Hoan Kiem Lake, a central landmark in Hanoi. Explore Ngoc Son Temple situated on a small island in thelake, connected by the iconic red Huc Bridge. Head to One Pillar Pagoda, a historic Buddhist temple known for its unique architectural design. Explore the surrounding gardens and learn about the pagoda'scultural significance. -Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum outside, an important site honoring the founding father of modern Vietnam. While the interior is often closed, you can still appreciate the grandeur of the mausoleum from the outside. Conclude your tour with a visit to Dong Xuan Market, one of the oldest and largest markets in Hanoi. Stroll through the vibrant market and explore the diverse array of goods, including textiles, souvenirs, and local snacks. Have Dinner at an Indian Restaurant in the evening before going to a hotel for an overnight stay. (Indian Lunch, Indian Dinner)
A 90km drive south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. Further discovery in Ninh Binh will be continued in the site that used to be the kings‟ palace in 10th century and now famous for the wooden relieves of the shady Dinh and Le temples. Start your day with breakfast and check out from your hotel in Da Nang before we pick you up for a half-day sightseeing tour of the serene Ba Na Hills. Leave the city's bustle behind as your friendly guide takes you to this mountain retreat, founded in the 1920s by French colonists. En route, stop at the Linh Ung Pagoda to admire the impressive 220-foot (67-m) statue of Bodhisattva. Continue your journey, passing by old French villas as your guide shares insights into the French occupation of Vietnam. Once in the mountains, take a scenic cable car ride up to the summit of Nui Chua Mountain. Enjoy a short and easy trek to Nghinh Phong Peak, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. After taking in the views, savor a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant. You can also visit the historic Debay Wine Cellar, an optional activity available for direct payment. This cellar, built in 1923 by French colonialists, offers a glimpse into the region’s past. Engage in hands-on activities that offer a deeper insight into Vietnamese culture and local traditions. We then head to the enchanting Hoi An Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you'll uncover the charm of the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, admiring its vibrant colors, intricate roof designs, and dragon statues. Step back in time at the Phung Hung or Tan Ky Ancient House, appreciating their 200-year-old architecture and learning about the prosperous merchants who once lived here and traded with global communities. You’ll also enjoy a captivating performance at the Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House and cross the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge, exploring its symbolic carvings and paintings. As you wander through Hoi An’s vibrant handicraft scene, you’ll discover treasures in galleries and shops, exploring hidden alleyways and charming local neighborhoods. Following your adventure, we’ll transfer you back to Da Nang and proceed to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Start the tour from the Post Office in colonial-style and the Notre Dame Cathedral. Go on to visit Thien Hau pagoda and a specific section that does not exist in any other city of Vietnam - a bustling China Town, where every board is in two languages: Chinese and Vietnamese, and so is the communication of the inhabitants. In the center of this exciting area is a grandiose market: "Cho Lon", i.e. The Big Market. A lot of Chinese living in this quarter have obtained great trading success with their know-how, wisdom and dynamic. After lunch in Saigon, head northwest to Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the very few remaining monuments to the Vietnam War. 200km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflicts, are beneath the ground in Cu Chi. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was a base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the War was. Today morning you will have free time to do shopping in Ho Chi Minh City (on your own). You can spend time at Ben Thanh Market or near by malls, after which we will have lunch. Later you will be picked up from the hotel lobby at the time confirmed. Please be available at the lobby 15 minutes before the time given and you will be transferred to the airport for your flight (Breakfast and Indian Lunch)
